I confess to buying this book some time ago and thoroughly enjoyed reading it I do love a good chicklit I m not a fashionista but I found Annie s journey and er aspirations to build Pelé: The King of Soccer her own business as well as juggling aome family and relationship an entertaining read I preferred this book than the 1st one Will definitely be reading of Carmen Reid s books I picked this up at the library without realising it was the second in the series and though I ave the
first The Personal Shopper as marked as unread I think I must The Personal Shopper as marked as unread I think I must read it at some stage as the characters in this were so familiar I admired Annie s ambition but felt er motives and behaviour were too self serving to be sympathetic I was waiting for The Unforgiven her to acknowledgeer actions as at least a little unreasonable and redeem Omgiven av idioter herself but I felt that the conseuences forere were token at bestThe story itself was okay fairly predictable though amusing enough in places It probably doesn t Kapitulatus! help that I only own 3 pairs of shoes and one 20andbag so I find the label dropping and lavicous descriptions of puffy sleeves and satin The Ivory Gate heels uninspiring Mainly though I didn t much care for Annie so I didn t much care forer story Annie Valentine was even annoying and pathetic than she was in the first book I don t know what Ed sees in Hindsight: All the Things I Can't See in Front of Me her The storyline was good but in allonesty I didn t warm to the central character and I found Ci alleniamo anche se piove?: Miserie e splendori del calcio dilettantistico her a bit annoying and tended to side wither boyfriend s point of view That being said it kept me reading until the end to find out what Star Wars Thrawn Star Wars Thrawn happened I picked this up after reading The Personal Shopper the first of the Annie Valentine novels by Carmen Reid Really this review could be 8 words it wasn t as good as the first oneIt skips a year ahead from the first one but feels like it should be carry on directly from it Annie is back working at The Store after the evil boss who fireder leaves I really wanted some sort of back story on the evil boss why does she New York Is English, Chattanooga Is Creek. (Richard Jackson Books (Atheneum Hardcover)) hate Annie where did she go Was she fired Why The book doesn t make it clear which annoyed me If a character does something I want to know why She does turn up again later but only to beorrible to Annie Annie wants to start Guiding Readers and Writers, Grades 3-6: Teaching Comprehension, Genre, and Content Literacy her own business by borrowing loads of money And she spends a ridiculous amount of money on aandbag Her partner is aving doubts so she spends almost the whole book arguing over itIt just isn t as strong plotwise as the first book was Personally I don t understand people who spend over a thousand pounds on a bag The most I ve spent is twenty uid Because of that the plot seemed unrealistic to me and it was the same thing all through the book Annie spends lots of money boyfriend gets mad Throw
the odd and a few funny moments with Connor the gay best friend and that s it The characters are still likable but the plot not so much You should probably try the first one before reading this because it is much better Uber busy Annie Valentine mum to two demanding children. Endlessly busy single mother Annie is single no She as a brand new man in Autobiography of Mark Twain, Vol. 3 her life and she plans to succeed as a fashion entrepreneurShe’s an expert inandbags and shoes so why not start selling them on line and become the next Louis Vui. Lovely character I personally don t think we saw as much of Annie s kids this time around Lana and Owen which was disappointing as the family as a unit makes for fabulous reading but what I saw was promising I love ow Owen is gettingin the odd

MINING THE GIRLS ABOUT TOWN SHORTthe Girls Town Short Books Carmen Reid is from the Scottish one She is a good writer and I would read The Strathmore Club her other books The trouble with this one was Iated the main character She was really annoying read irresponsible and selfish ala Becky Bloomwood to the point I was yelling at Pampa Pampa her In the book Seriously that s over involvement Annie is a personal shopper who wants to starter own business but is sacrificing time with er family and partner while doing so There was enough plot to keep me reading but it was so o Geometry Part 1: Quickstudy Laminated Reference Guide (Quick Study Academic) hum and the really interesting characters never were fully explored There was the reuisite gay best friend so pretty run of the mill I m up for another turn but give Late Night Shopping a missUpdate Just found out it was a seuel to a book called The Personal Shopper but that just makes it even like the Shopaholic series Will read it and report bac.
