Graphic in order for it be loving heartfelt The development is slow and sweet and there is a nice epilogue to end the The romantic development is slow and sweet and there is a nice epilogue to end the on a beautiful note Check it out for yourself because it will be well worth it This was a little serious than I was expecting I liked it though and it was fun to watch the story nfold It was good to see Callie settle down and realize what was important to her I had a hard time connecting with her at first Even though I move around a lot benefit of being married to a Marine but my heart is in Utah with my family I look forward to being able to return home and settling down eventually So I guess I could kind of My Fairly Dangerous Godmother (My Fair Godmother, understand her desire to see the world but it seemed a little pointless the way she was doing it I was glad to see her get some answers about her father and really discove who she is and what she wants I liked the romance I m a sucker for those lost love stories While they technically never dated before so I guess it was of a lost crush story They were great together though and I though their relationship was believable Cute romance Overall a good read Content Clean I think there was maybe one curse word The author provided me with a copy of this book for my honest review2 12 starsCallie left home years ago her father left when she was young and she thought that living the nomad lifestyle would make hernderstand why he left She is living in New York City when she gets a call from her deceased brothers best friend Danny the man she loved and never had Her mother fell off a ladder and needs Callie to come home Callie realizes she still has feelings for Danny yet she doesn t want to hurt him with her restless nature Danny now sees Callie as a woman and these new feelings he has for her could leave him with a broken heart Will the two of them take a chance or will fear keep them apart This is technically a good book there is nothing wrong with the story and the editing is done wonderfully Callie is strong and independent yet she still has this lost little girl inside her Danny is Harlem Renaissance understanding good looking and responsible he is the boy every mom wants their daughter to date The plot was interesting girl comes home to help mom and she sees the boy she has always secretly loved Boy sees girl differently sparks fly and the rest is history However as good as all those things were I just wasn t feeling this book I can t really put my finger on why maybe it was because the book was slow or I didn t feel the heat between the couple If you like your romance books to be pretty much drama free with a few kisses here and there and a slow buildp then Coming Home is worth a try I received a copy of this manuscript in exchange for an honest reviewI enjoyed this debut novel from Christine Feldman a lot Callie is a savvy independent girl living life on the open road who is called back to her home town for personal reasons There she is reunited with the object of her teenage crush capable handsome Danny who runs the local river rafting business The pair are wary of each other at first but are inevitably drawn together as they deal with a shared past and family illness The The Elvis Enigma (Vegan Vamp, uestion for them both as their attraction becomesndeniable is whether Callie is willing to hang Honorable Cat up her hat and take a chance on true love I enjoyed the mounting tension and heat between Callie and Danny who are gritty and credible characters and was reminded by their magnetism of the power of the teenage crushCongratulations to Christine for a great first effort and looking forward to reading all her future endeavoursRegards Caroline Carter Romance Novelist Originally posted on The CanonFTC Disclosure I received a copy of this novel from the author in exchange for an honest reviewThere s really nothing like old history between two people to spark a romance In Coming Home Callie and Danny face downite a few different ghosts I have been really into tensions lately in my posts I have no idea where that s coming frommaybe a Freudian slip In writing Sorry Haven t had enough coffee yet and the tensions in Coming Home add so much to the novel I loved how the side plots evolved around the main conflict adding interesting little tidbits to keep me engagedI found the metaphor of journey to be really interesting in this novel Callie takes a journey home then a journey to meet her father constantly thinks about her journey back to the big city but all the while she s on a trip of her own all these journeys and travels represent her growth which was a pleasant surprise hidden inside this novel Callie was interesting and engaging the kind of take cha. D When her mother takes a bad fall and breaks her hip Callie leaves the bright lights of New York City to fly back west and help with the rehabilitation It’s a tense homecoming due to a long time estrangement between mother and daughter and it drives Callie to confront both a painful personal loss and her تاريخ جهنم unansweredestions about the father who abandoned her when she was just a child It also brings her face to face with Danny again and Callie ickly realizes that After looking at the reviews on and Goodreads I was very excited to read this book The blurb intrigued me as well I was a little disappointed once I read the book though I don t nderstand how it has five 5 star reviews on It was an okay book but not great The story flowed but very slowly I had to stop reading it a couple of times and get back into the story The editing in this book was amazing I didn t notice any grammatical errors or spelling mistakes which is rare I just wish the author would ve picked p the pace and maybe had some drama throw some spice into the story I like my stories fast paced and spicy If you like your books slow coming and mild this book is for you The author did a good job on character development and writing Reviewed on Hearts on Fire 35 Stars This is a nice gentle romance about a young woman named Callie who Has Left Her Small Town Life In Oregon To Pursue left her small town life in Oregon to pursue as a free spirit When she finds out her mother has a free spirit When she finds out her mother has and broken her hips Callie returns to her old hometown that s filled with memories of her family including a brother who died several years ago in a car accident and his best friend Danny a boy that she had once had strong feelings for when she was a teenagerCallie finds herself still attracted to Danny when she sees him again but fears that she may be just like her father a man who abandoned his family when she was a child This story recounts her journey to figuring out who she really is and discovering if she has what it takes to stick out a relationshipI thought the writing was good and liked the way we get to see both Callie Danny s point of view At first I thought the book had some small town bias with both Danny Callie s mom judging her for leaving town looking for a adventurous big city life Danny especially seemed to be good at the guilt trip But eventually I saw that their point of view wasn t so static as they both came around to say how proud they were of all her accomplishmentsThere s a soothing ality to this romance and story There s a conflict without much angst and there was a nice resolution A part of me wished for a little excitement or anything even sexiness sex to throw off the predictability We never did get to see examples of Callie s risk taking that s so talked about in the book Getting one small tattoo is just not enough to spell bold But not every book has to be a thrill ride and if you re in the mood for a nice even keeled romance story to read on some cozy afternoon then this one may just be the ticket Amanda s review posted on Guilty Pleasures Book Reviews5 StarsThere is no better feeling when you read a good story which gets you out of your reading funk The story that did it for me was Coming Home by Christine Feldman I had been looking for something to spark my interest and what better way is with a new author and her debut story I love finding something new and discovering a gem of a story It s a story of first love and a wandering soul finding her placeCallie is going home to take care of her mother after a terrible fall Her relationship with her mother is a bit strained due to her father s abandonment and her brother s death She left home at 18 and has been living away never staying long in one place She also left behind the boy she had a crush on and she had left on bad terms the last time she was homeThe plot of the story was well thought out and let the characters develop nicely For a short story I was pleasantly surprised that the length gave me time to like and The Winds of Winter understand the characters and they decisions that they make Both Danny and Callie don t want to hurt the other so they both refrain from pursuing the other even though they both want to badly Callie gets herestions answered that she s been searching for and is able to move forward with her life and that played out well without it getting sappy or fake The tension and emotions were felt between the characters in their actions and even their non actions The story flowed well and didn t feel rushed to concludeIt was a nice length and took an afternoon to read in one sitting One thing that hit close to me is the mother daughter dynamic That relationship alone can be complicated but I think the author touched on it the decisions made for the sake of her children and it s not Comece por você until later that the adult childnderstands what was done for themComing Home opened my eyes a little to what goes on within a family and it s all done out of love This alone is a great part of the story and then you add the romance developing between the main characters you get an artfully written romance It doesn t have to be. No woman ever really forgets her first love Callie Sorenson is no exception Hers was tall tanned and as her older brother’s best friend completely off limits Danny McCutcheon It’s a name that Callie hasn’t spoken in years even if the man to whom it belongs has never really been all that far from her thoughts Or her heart But now a twist of fate will bring her back to the childhood home she left behind years ago and to the hometown boy for whom she secretly longe.

Rge girl we all love I laughed when she over her mother s resisting assistant in the immediately changing all sorts of things I felt that her own personal tensions mother s resisting assistant in the store immediately changing all sorts of things I felt that her own personal tensions conflicts added to the story instead of dragging the attention away from the main point the romance between Callie and DannyPersonally I liked the tension between Callie and Danny they resist acknowledging their attraction for a good part of the book It s all the anticipation that makes it fun to readFinal Thoughts Callie and Danny go into a special spot on my ereader the one I go to when I want something short and sweet Coming Home was a lovely read one I look forward to reading again Reviewed for Read Your Writes Book Reviewsby KIMWWWREADYOURWRITESBLOGSPOTCOMCOMING HOME WAS THAN I BARGAINED FOR I WAS HOME was than I bargained for I was for a romantic story I wasn t prepared for the classic motherdaughter friction and I wasn t prepared to cryCOMING HOME was a story that I could completely relate to I mean let s face it most daughters are like their mothers and neither one EVER sees it That s the case of me and my mom and my daughter and myself It s only when you fall that you realize your mother was only trying to protect you from pain and heartacheThere isn t any estion that Callie and Libby her mother love each other You can tell they do For Callie however the one thing she can t get over is why her mother took away every momento of her father and never talks about himLibby is a strong woman in ways than one She sees all and knows all After her husband left the family she took care of two kids alone only to lose one at the hands of a drunk driver Though it broke her heart she allowed Callie to bypass college and leave home to spread her wings always hoping she would returnDanny McCutcheon isn t a man without his own share of pain and heartache When he was eight years old he came to live with the only family he has his grandfather Danny has no memory of his father and probably wishes he had no memory of his mother Because of life Danny has learned not to take chancesUpon learning that her mother has fallen and broken her hip Callie rushes home to take care of her Knowing that once her mother is better she will be back to her nomadic life What Callie doesn t expect is that coming home this time will put her heart at risk and that she ll make new discoveries about herself and othersI believe this book is classified as a contemporary romance It is heavy on the sweet romance side But this book is than just a romance book This is a story of a mom trying to protect her daughter but finally realizing that she needs to let her go and stand on her own Understanding that if her daughter falls she will to be there to pick her p It s also a story of realizing that through the eyes of a child things are not always as they seem Though I hate to Lord Conrads Lady (Conrad Stargard, use the term coming of age through the course of this book the characters make self discoveries about themselves and those around them One will realize that you can t punish yourself for something cast out in theniverse to happen There are times you need to stop playing it safe and take a risk One will realize that if you just be honest with yourself and those you love things will look different in the light of day And one will realize that coming face to face with your past just might lead you to where you truly belong and the place you ve been looking for your whole life And realizing that what you ve been looking for has always been right there in front of youSource Author My Personal OpinionThis book was truly a pleasant surprise Dont Read Poetry usually when I read such a short book 128 pages I never find myself caring too much for the characters simply because there isn t enough time to get to know them well but Coming home is a whole different storyThe story development took most of the pages of this book which worked great in this case because it build anticipation and gave me time to love andnderstand the main characters This book brought many emotions to the surfaceI would often find myself complaining to Callie for her decisionsyelling at Danny for not trying hard enough or awwing and crying whenever there was a sweet momentComing home is an emotional ride beautifully written and developed this kind of books are the ones that remind me that writing is art and that Everyday Life in Early Soviet Russia uantity doesn t t necessarily meansality FOr reviews and free book downloads visit beautifully written Nice length of a read for one sitting Looks at the dynamics of parent child and how they are changing but still effect one s perceptions She was looking for something but found it where she le. Ld feelings die hard But for Danny it’s new feelings that are a problem Callie is not the young girl he remembers but a woman now and a very desirable one They both have reasons to fight the growing attraction between them but the temptation may just prove to be too much to resist despite some very real risk to their hearts The past casts a long shadow over the future though and Callie will have to overcome it or else face losing the one man who means the most to he. ,
