The mergence of life The biocentrism theory isn t a rejection of science uite the opposite Biocentrism challenges us to fully accept the implications of the latest scientific findings in fields ranging from plant biology and cosmology to uantum The Deepest Sin entanglement and consciousness By listening to what the science is telling us it becomes increasingly clear that life and consciousness are fundamental to any true understanding of the universe This forces a fundamental rethinking ofverything we thought we knew about life death and our place in the universe PLEASE NOTE When you purchase this title the accompanying reference material will be available in your My Library section along with the audio.

Biocentrism shocked the world with a radical rethinking of the nature of reality But that was just the beginning In Beyond Biocentrism acclaimed biologist Robert Lanza one of TIME magazine s Most Influential People in and leading astronomer Bob Berman take the listener on an intellectual thrill ride as they reexamine verything we thought we knew about life death the universe and the nature of reality itself The first step is acknowledging that our xisting model of reality is looking increasingly creaky in the face of recent scientific discoveries Science tells us with some precision that the universe is percent dark matter percent dark nergy and only percent ordinary matter but must confe. Prove the pointI find it rather strange that this book has come along when I was wondering about what consciousness means spooky venIt is less successful when it considers what death really is I get the bit about death being an Le valeureux guerrier experience created in the realities of those left behind but there is no real *attempt to guess at what it means for the person who has diedxcept vague comments that they don *to guess at what it means for the person who has died Snowflakes on the Sea except vague comments that they don I read Lanza s book Biocentrism after his seuel Beyond Biocentrism but that did not present a problem Both books arexcellent as well as provoking although the sections on uantum Theory remain beyond my grasp But there is Wrathful Chaos: Five Books of Satanic Philosophy enough to buttress the argument that consciousness gives rise to reality rather than the reality ofvolution giving rise to conscious beings through random vents and natural selection Perhaps our religious ancestors had the right basic instincts and or insights about consciousness particularly in the context of
"east asian civilization "Asian civilization if many vils have resulted from all organized religions It s better than a science fiction book Couldn t stop reading once I started the book It Ss that it doesn t really know what dark matter is and knows ven less about dark nergy Science is increasingly pointing toward an infinite universe but has no ability to Humanism: The Greek Ideal and its Survival explain what that really means Concepts such as time space andven causality are increasingly being demonstrated as meaningless All of science is based on information passing through our consciousness but science hasn t the foggiest idea what consciousness is and it can t Love 2.0 (A Cates Brothers Book, explain the linkage between subatomic states and observation by conscious observers Science describes life as a random occurrence in a dead universe but has no real understanding of how life began or why the universe appears to bexuisitely designed for.
